Steve had this to say about it: "Not much to say about this first attempt "crudzine". I wrote and drew the entire issue with a ball point pen -- no pencils, directly to ink. There were reviews of TARZAN OF THE APES and THE MAD KING, and some articles about why I felt ERB was important to American literature."
